At Colorectal Clinic of Tampa Bay we are lucky to be led by a team of incredible surgeons: Dr. Francisco Itriago, Dr. In Soon Park, and Dr. Jeffrey Mino. Each of our surgeons brings something unique to the table, and their extensive and varied backgrounds in the medical field have left them with decades of experience in treating colorectal and gastrointestinal conditions.

Dr. Francisco Itriago: Hemorrhoid Specialist, General & Colorectal Surgery
Dr. Itriago specializes in treating common colorectal issues such as hemorrhoids, pilonidal cysts, diverticulitis and more. Dr. Itriago’s particular areas of expertise include advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures for colorectal cancer, diverticular disease and inflammatory bowel disease. He also specializes in the surgical treatment of anorectal pathology including hemorrhoids, anal fissures and fistulas. He takes a minimally-invasive approach to treatment, utilizing robotic surgery and other minimally-invasive surgical techniques to treat many colorectal conditions. He is the founder of Colorectal Clinic of Tampa Bay, and has been with us since the very beginning!
Medical Background & Education
Dr. Itriago received his medical school education at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, School of Medicine in Caracas, Venezuela. After graduating, he completed his internship and general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he was the recipient of The Charles Polivy, MD and the Robert Warren Painter, MD Awards for Excellence in Academics, Teaching and Clinical Care.
Having identified colorectal surgery as an area he felt passionately about, Dr. Itriago then went on to complete a minimally invasive colorectal fellowship at the Colorectal Clinic of Orlando, an affiliate of the Orlando Regional Medical Center/MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Certifications
Not only is Dr. Itriago a talented surgeon, he continues to pursue excellence in the medical field through certifications and society membership. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, has received certification in the use of the da Vinci robotic surgical system, and is currently a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
